J SCHATZ ORIGINAL DESIGN
The Egg Bird Feeder was designed in 2004 by J Schatz and quickly became a design classic. Jim Schatz designed the feeder to be beautiful, functional, durable and squirrel-proof. J Schatz Egg Bird Feeders have been sold to thousands of happy customers around the world. In 2007 the U.S. Patent office issued us our design patent #D566,344.

We design and handcraft all our products from our studio in New York and employ artists from the local community. Your support and enthusiasm for original design is shared by J Schatz and is reflected in the quality and integrity of our company and its products.

AVOID FAKES
As a design-conscious consumer, we ask that you avoid fake Egg Bird Feeders that are being falsely marketed as the creation of UK-based company "The Nuttery". In 2006 the Nuttery's managing director, Julian Lipton, purchased J Schatz's Egg Bird Feeders in order to replicate the design and call it his own. While Mr. Lipton extols his company's "design" and "innovation", he has in fact designed nothing, and demonstrated bad business ethics.
